Advertisement Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Hi anng, Take a look here Leica M8.2 Faulty shot. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Graham (G4FUJ) Posted April 22, 2024 Share #2 Posted April 22, 2024 Going to sound like a silly answer, but you had taken the lens cap off? I've managed to take photos with the cap still on!
andybarton Posted April 22, 2024 Share #3 Posted April 22, 2024 I have an M240. Occasionally, I get a similar thing happening (not the lens cap thing). It might happen if I incorrectly use an SD card that has been used in a different camera, or just "one of those things". The images are on the card OK, though. jaapv Posted April 22, 2024 Share #4 Posted April 22, 2024 If it is because the card was not formatted in the camera, the shot will be lost

jaapv Posted April 22, 2024 Share #6 Posted April 22, 2024 Well, when I made that mistake on my M8 years ago they were. The DMR would do so as well at shot #27.

Can you look at the exif data. i had such a "problem", when I came randomly on the time wheel und set it from A to 1/8000s. So the photo was underexposed ... or check the SD-card and as said before format in the camera. Hope it helps.

Don't worry, it can happen to even the most experienced photographers 😉 Welcome to the forum BTW 🙂 https://pin.it/AAWhh7YZM
