You are referring to the „Fluid View“ which I had to deactivate some weeks ago.

This view is an performance killer. Depending on which forums you chose it could take minutes to create the page, while pushing the server to the limit.

After the next major upgrade I'll give it a test run, but as of now I can't take responsibility for that.

i observe at times that contributions of mine, and others, disappear - for example a few days ago i added a comment (i believe) to something about misaligned focus , i forgot what exactly it was.  but not only did my post disappear but even the entire thread it seems.  or the thread only survived with the first 3 msgs.  my post in this particular case does not even show up in the list of my 'Statusmeldungen'.   in this particular case i added information about Julian Thompson's contributions to coincidence-at-infinity .  i feel to remember that such losses of posts happened to me also in the past once or twice over the years.

anyway, this much as a comment or as observation...

I occasionally encounter an issue on my iPhone 15 (latest iOS) where the forum page does not load immediately. The blue bar indicating loading remains stuck at the beginning. Sometimes, when I repeat the page request at this stage, a rudimentary web page appears without graphics or photos, only with text. Further repetitions then generally work.

My perception is that the forum has gone   really    slow   the   last   few   days

Yep, but today it's really slow, at least from Italy, with or without VPN activated.
Opening a page, opening a answer to a tread and then saving it takes at least 10 seconds delay.
Could be ongoing attacks and that CloudFlare or a similar security service is overloaded what slows down response time.

Yep, from here too, all good now, digital mysteries.
Sometimes i think that my StarLink connection is the culprit and then it's relaxing that others have same problem what exclude StarLink problems.
