"One Man and His Dog" - this is an image I've played with many times over the years but never quite got it right. Problem was that there were two guide rails running just behind the man and dog and I could never remove them and retain a realistic picture. I've had another go this morning and come up with this.
The original image was taken in July 2022 using a Leica SL2 with the 24-90mm SL Vario-Elmarit.

I wonder which editor you used you used for the Guide Rails because the main subject is absolutely spot on for total focus.

I used the Remove Tool in Photoshop for some of the easier bits and then the Clone Tool at various Opacities and Flow for the 'fiddly' bits around the man and the dog's hair.

In my opinion you completely nailed it this time. The pose is perfect (for both) and I really like the highly detailed processing.

You really did a great job editing it. Maybe one suggestion I would like to make is to reduce the smoothness of the face.

I thank you for and appreciate your suggestion, however I’m not entirely sure what you mean when you say reduce the smoothness of his face. Do you mean to reduce the Clarity, or Sharpness of his face?

If you see in the raw image, there was more clarity in the face as well as in the hair, which was kind of lost in the edited one. Maybe you can try to reduce the sharpening or smoothing tone of the face.
