But I got sick of getting caught in a rain or having to put more stuff in my pocket. So instead of a long strap I now use a wrist strap. I put my camera and the cleaning cloth, lens pen, and extra battery and SD card inside this bag. So instead if having the camera dangling across my body I just have it inside here. pgytech onego solo v2 4l. 4L is the smallest one. It fits the M10R with the 50 cron or 35 cron (with or without the hood). Now it feels safer walking around instead of $12,000 worth of camera equipment just bouncing up and down on my back. https://www.pgytech.com/products/onego-solo-v2 For travel I use the PeakDesign every day sling 6L. Fits the iPad 11" and my other lens. So you bought a car cover for it! 😁 Jeff

There's almost no information on them - one review in German on YouTube (he didn't seem to like it too much, especially the Fidlock closers). Trying to compare that one to the Oberwerth Q bag and the Billingham Hadley Digital. Might order all three from B&H - only way to really compare properly. Looked at these at the local Leica store and I have to say the Fidlock closure is a bit of a pain. Just when you get one lock to open, the angle is such that the other one, that it won't open. Found myself fiddling way too long to get it to work.

It makes more of a light "snap" sound when undone than the "rip-the-building apart" sound of the full velcro! Since the bag can zipper shut as well, the flap doesn't really need much to secure it. In fact, the flap would be OK for me with no "attachment" at all. Its primary purpose is as a rain/dust/appearance cover so I can see (and may actually do this...) removing the velcro from the bag entirely and leaving gravity to close the flap.🤔 Yes, always loved the simplicity of Domke bags and have used them for as long as they've been around in several sizes, but I hated the noisy Velcro under the flap and I never liked the hard to open metal clasp that secures the flap.........At first I did what you have done, taped over much of the "bag side" Velcro which did the trick, sort of, but after a while that just became a sticky mess especially in hot weather, so since then I've picked off all the Velcro on my several Domke bags and replaced the quite nasty metal clasp with these fittings: https://www.amazon.fr/SUMMIT-FIELD-REPAIR-BUCKLE-RELEASE/dp/B00V8UZSDU/ref=asc_df_B00V8UZSDU/?tag=googshopfr-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=701425818183&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11490096687663042707&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9054997&hvtargid=pla-391301515806&psc=1&mcid=6b6cc48352c834d3953ab7c9ad574ed4&gad_source=1 Simple to do, works great, and I have quiet and secure Domke's now.

However I enclose images from the Amazon website for this product, you'll see that it's just a case of cutting off the Domke clasp and screwing these buckles in place through the loops that held the Domke clasp, an easy 10 minute job if you have a cutter to remove the Domke clasp. Due to a back issue, I must stop using my shoulder bag (Oberwerth Louis Visoflex ed) for a while... My short answer: Hill People Gear Umlindi. Down side: Perpetually out-of-stock, so much of the time. The site shows that only Multi-Cam is currently available, as of 12th of September, 2024. None of the solid colors are in-stock. A backpack does balance a load, symmetrically equal support on each side, which does help with some back problems. Even better, use a backpack that places the load on one’s hips, though such backpacks do look much more utilitarian that what an urban professional might want to use. Some backpacks can look reasonable for urban professional use, while being able to mate with a truly excellent waist belt. That is why I like the Umlindi, as it was specifically designed to be able to mate with a top-tier waist belt, but to be usable as a day pack, without the belt. I like the Hill People Gear Prairie Belt, and a similar product from Kifaru. These wonderfully supportive belts can mate with a range of backpacks and lumbar packs. I have used a Prairie belt with a bum/butt/lumbar bag, the Hill People Gear M2016 Butt Pack. (This Butt Pack seems, unfortunately, to be perpetually sold-out.) The LUF site will not let me post links, at least not with the iPad that I am using. The Hill People Gear dot com web site has wonderful tutorial video presentations, viewable on their you tube channel. Hill People Gear products do NOT have a military look/character, but are sewn by a manufacturer which does provide nylon fabric equipment to the US military. Think Tank has made some quite good hip belts, thoughtfully designed, that work well for bearing weight on the hips. I do not know whether any of their back packs are designed to mate with their belts, but, Think Tank products are thoughtfully designed, and very well-made. benqui Posted September 21, 2024 Share #133 Posted September 21, 2024 When I travel I use in most cases one camera and one lens. I found this bag in the Leica store in Hongkong. It was specially designed for this store. It is very practical and has the perfect size for one camera. Furthermore it is waterproof. Welcome, dear visitor! ramarren Posted October 5, 2024 Share #134 Posted October 5, 2024 A recent acquisition: I bought one of the Wotancraft Canteener 3.5L bags for everyday camera carrying. I was attracted to this design because I get annoyed by having to constantly open and close the top flap on my other shoulder bags ... Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! (That's Wotancraft's photo of the bag, from the web page I linked to above.) The Canteener is basically an open sack, like a military canteen bottle carrier, that you can pull things in and out of without anything getting in the way. It includes two front external pockets for incidentals (like a phone, notebook, headphones in case), a flat back zippered pocket (useful for wallet, keys, etc), and the rest is just open space like a holster. When you need a little weather protection or just want to close the main interior of the bag to keep things in and hands out, there's a drawstring locked cover that can be used. It's big enough to fit a typical Leica M plus two or maybe even three lenses, depending on the size of the lenses and whether you use protector bags, and they sell some additional divider and padding for it (I use the bottom padding only). It wears comfortably and has a decent adjustable strap. It's become my normal "grab and go" camera carrier for the Leicas and any of my Polaroid SX-70 type cameras. Not too expensive, and very nicely put together. G
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Winni Posted November 11, 2024 Share #135 Posted November 11, 2024 This is a new travel camera bag I bought for my Sony DSCW800. I like its compact and portable design. It uses EVA material, which is protected from bumps and scratches and very durable. The internal mesh pocket can also be used to store accessories such as memory cards and cables.
