Serie 5.5 circular pol with evidence of delamination

I was once fortunate to grab the elusive 13338 circular polarizer "drawer kit" for my 280mm f4.0 APO Telyt-R, but now I am noticing the start of delamination around the perimeter. At present, it doesen't appear to be impacting image quality, but I suspect the delamination will worsen over time. Within the mechanism is the odd-sized Serie 5.5 filter element, which is a size no longer supported by the likes of B+W or Heliopan, so it doesn't appear likely that I'll ever be able to replace the element with anything of comparable quality. Is there any recovery for a delaminated filter?

Yes. Replace the glass using a 36 mm donor filter.
