Operate the Leica M11 in exactly the same way as the Leica Q3 in the new Leica app. Here I am thinking of geotagging and quick transfer of images and the new Leica look? Are there any differences ?

With the upcoming iPhone 15 release rumored to support USB-C instead of Lightning, does anyone know if we plug in a USB-C to USB-C cable, it will have the same functionality as the current USB-C to Lightning cable functionality between the Q3 and iOS Fotos app?

Yes it will. Fotos App on the iPad is already the same app as on the iPhone with the same functionality. There will  be no change in usability except for faster transfer speeds with USB-C (10x faster, theoretically).

just choose a fast USB-C cable.

For exemple Apple USB-C white cable are only for charging (transfer speed is limited to USB 2)

Whereas Apple black cables are Thunderbolt 3/4 ones, very expensive and very fast but overkill for USB 3...

Plenty of third party between those two extremes

don't rely on color alone. there are white 100W apple cables... Just pick Thunderbolt 3 and above. Read speed will be limited by your card tough.

Got it, great news. Interestingly enough, I got my Q3 yesterday and tried my white Apple USB-C to Lightning cable between my Q3 and iPhone and it didn't work. Had to use the included black Leica cable. I wonder why the white cable doesn't work...

Why don’t you use the wireless connection? It’s much faster on the iPhone.
