@anomalek, when all else fails - read the instruction manual.  Oh, wait - maybe do that before the shit hits the fan in the middle of a paid shoot??  And as was suggested above, maybe have a backup camera for paid work?  Any kind of backup camera with enough megapixels, ISO range and a decent lens that will produce acceptable image quality for the client's needs - it doesn't have to be another Q2 or an M11.

Not to appear to be a snob, but editing posts for typos before posting is also a good idea.

As for the rest, please see my post #16 here:  https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/373537-leica-grip-is-a-lot-nicer-than-expected/#comment-4731382

And welcome to the forum.  As the old saying goes, "You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar."  Just saying...

I’m guessing we won’t hear from him.

He’s probably sobered up, re-read his comments and realizes how inappropriate they were 😂

Did you check to see if you put the camera in manual focus mode?  Little button on the focus tab.  If you can turn the focus ring freely, you’re in manual focus mode. Autofocus will not work while this is in effect.

Good catch and nice work helping a raving lunatic. 🤪
