Kl@usW. Posted January 6, 2024 Share #225  Posted January 6, 2024 What is the period-correct sunshade for the Elmar 3,5/3,5 cm ?  I have a nice 3,5/3,5 cm uncoated copy as a loan for a couple of days and I think it will benefit from a shade. I presume the FISON wouldl vignette?  Sorry to ask, but I don't have a digital M any more so I can't test that without the hassle of developing a film. Thank you for your help. K.

Thank you, gaheris. I think I'll run a film through my II(D) with the 3,5 cm Elmar plus FISON and see to what result. . Â About changing the aperture with the hood on: no problem, I always use a FISON for my 5cm Elmars. Â
lct Posted January 8, 2024 Share #228  Posted January 8, 2024 There are two dedicated Leitz hoods for the Elmar 35/3.5: FLQOO (black) and FOOKH or 12505 (silver). See pics below. The FLQOO is about 5mm taller which can be useful as the lens is not flare free. Better have thin fingers or remove the hoods to change aperture with both. I have no experience with the FISON hood sorry. Welcome, dear visitor! Thank you ICT !   Useful information.  After searching a little : the black goes for about 300-500 US$; the silver is much cheaper and easier to find: 120 to 200 €...... Chinese copy of what resembles a short FISON :  35 €
