Question about M9 shutter re-cocking sound

I haven’t played with my M9 since last Spring so I decided to take it out for a few pictures. I also own a M8.2 and recently acquired an M-E. After playing around with the M9, I notice the shutter recocking (not initial shutter click sound) is much louder than my M8.2 and my M-E when compared side by side. It’s almost like a metallic sound if I were to describe it.

From my understanding, all three (M9, M-E and M8.2) cameras share the exact same shutter along with the M9-P. At first I thought the shutter re-cocking and higher pitched due to a full frame (M9) vs crop sensor (M8.2), but after acquiring and comparing with my M-E, the M9 is definitely louder.

I’ve searched on YouTube and the closest one I could find that resembles my M9 shutter recocking sound is from this video, while all other videos I’ve found are significantly quieter and with a different/lower pitch.

Can anyone else’s confirm if their M9 shutter recocking is this loud (louder than M8.2 and M-E with the same shutter)?
