I've been checking prices on what the M9/M9-P is selling for now. It does seem impressive that a 15 year old (early) digital camera is getting 30 to 35 percent of what it was sold for new.
I would think that one is getting there moneys-worth!

When my M9 Monochrom finally dies, I will certainly have had my money’s worth.  No need to trade it …

Had three M9s at one point. One of them had a shutter failure and was not repairable. Sold a minty and last year model and I still have this one which has been my most used camera with over 40,000 shutter counts. It's still going strong and if I sold it it would be like eliminating all of the fond memories that it captured for me all these years. The CCD sensor color is absolutely magic which the DNG files require minimal editing or at times might have to tone down the color a bit as it can be too much sometimes. All in all it's such as niche camera and none of the Leica digital Ms are as unique and crazy as the M9.
