Went out with my M10-P and Steel Rim (reissue) to the woods, it's not a super special shot but combined with the glowy wide open look this lens has I still enjoyed this one.

I can imagine this picture in B&W. Sure it would look great. Maybe you should give to a try 😉

As the Milky Way is straight above us where I am right now and there is zero light pollution on the islands, I have set to capture it on with my 35 mm steel rim wide open. The orange star bottom right is Antares, the brightest star in the zodiacal constellation Scorpius (all bottom part) and one of the largest known stars, having several hundred times the diameter of the Sun and 10K x the Sun's luminosity.

Riviera (by Buick)

I borrowed the lens from the Leica Store for a couple of hours right after it was released and was moderately enthusiastic. After I have now let some time go in the country and have seen many articles and Youtube posts, I have ordered the lens but (me always the size and weight excited). Since yesterday I have it and attached one of my first test shots (whether it is okay, otherwise I would have returned it). Since I have figured out for me in the meantime that just with a high-contrast development the images become as it likes, I am now but very fond of this reissued lens. In any case, the soft blur gradient is a real dream. I am curious whether I also get it on loan from the M11 to my M6TTL (0.58 with the 35iger frame).

A lens with character, the beginning of a new friendship 😀

Nice... I'm enjoying mine too.  The glow seemed to suit these old Landies, but the lens quickly sharpens up when you want to pick out something, like that pair of eyes peeping out from under the numberplate😊.

It is good to see the ways in which the Re-Edition can be used to intentionally show flare. Urgent work, on our aging house, has hindered my recent opportunities to shoot, but I am glad that I bought a Re-Edition, during a brief time at the end of June or first of July, when Leica USA had some few available. This is the first Leica-branded lens that I have bought new, rather than pre-owned, so, it is all the more special, and I am glad that it is testing well, thus far.

Took the M10R and the 35SR to a family wedding yesterday, the combo tucked into my little clutch bag perfectly, discrete and did the job I wanted very well, just capturing some nice memories of a lovely day.

Very nice set. I like the rendering of the B&W ones. Do you remember the opening?

Thank you - the evening indoors I would definitely have set to wide open, maybe nudged half a stop to 1.8,  there were flashing and changing colour lights while dancing and cake cutting was going on and I struggled with colours as you an see from below shot,  b&w just easier option, looking forward to seeing what the photographer does.
