Hi @Al Brown I'm curious about the sticker you put on your Reporter. Nicely colour-matched. I'm curious about the picture and writing though. It seems so nicely personalised.

Posting some images here for the first time in a long time, so hoping I understand the protocols correctly. Resized for 2480 long size, and under 1000kb. I'll post small selection from November 2022 when I first got this lens. I was using the supplied vented hood with a UV filter, so you can see the hard vignetting in some of them. The one below near Dijon. The others all in Paris or Burgundy.

Haha it’s just a sticker of a goat, and it says GOAT. You know, Greatest Of All Time.

Here is a perfectly matching tape for the reporter finish:

I just wanted to thank everyone in this thread who has posted photos. I picked up one of these today (edit: V3), and have only had it a few hours. But it has a way of making the mundane pop. This is all in extremely harsh (HORRIBLE) Australian afternoon winter sunlight, which is normally hopeless for any type of interesting imaage making.

If you want my 35 APO you'll need to exhume me at some point to get it, but 35mm is my favourite focal length (closely followed by 75mm), and this lens has a charm all to itself. I can't wait to get to know it better, and see what it can do in some more flattering light.

These are shot on an M11 by the way... that electronic shutter is a godsend for fast lenses.

I got lucky and received my steel rim v2 pre-order yesterday. Shot on the M11 wide open with focus set to infinity I believe. I tried to keep editing to a minimum, but I did do a little adjustment to the sky and used Cobalt Imaging's "Colours" Lightroom profile. I had a Leica UVA II filter on it for this shot. Overall I'm really loving the lens wide open.
