But it’s huge. I’m thinking about luxM 1.4 on CL

Yes, it does have that bulk/heft, but handling with one hand on the lens is actually quite manageable. I know what you mean, though, as the 35 1.4 FLE is just so nice and small on the CL.

I also have the 35 1.4 TL lens. As nice as it is, I think the 35 1.4 FLE, noctilux, and SL 50 outshine it on the CL.

This woman caught my eyes immediately. She looked like those classic beauties that we see in the old movies. I just needed a Cary Grant or a Humphrey Boghart at her table to complete the image.

It was in a crowded place, but I knew I had to wait as long as necessary for a right moment to take a quick shot of her.

Worth the wait and well timed.

Classic photo, Louis!

(Just my thoughts: I might have considered cropping the rear booth out of the photo. What do you think?)

FWIW Rob...not to bud in :) but need to crop didn't occur to me at all on first glance of the image, so I'd say leave as is. I have for my own stuff been trying to stay to the full-frame as much as possible. As I look back at this one, that next booth and shadowy figure in back add and balance the image nicely.

David,

You are not budding in at all!  Just an exchange of ideas.

Rob, thank you very much for your feedback. I was also considering what you are suggesting, but at the end, I preferred to keep it as it is. I always favored the 8/12 format framing for my pictures; also, I believe the composition I have now gives more atmosphere and "ambiance" of the place. Furthermore, the right background creates a kind of "mysterious" mood to my eyes that adds to this photo. :)

David, thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.

For me, an image is how the image maker conceive it. Of course, each "Eye" see things differently, fortunately. .. As I said to Rob, above, I did consider a different framing, but at the end, It seemed to me the mood this framing is creating  makes more sense for this shot. Obviously, each one of us would have seen it differently, and your comments make much sense. :)

Using the 55-135 CL APO zoom:

I was actually looking for Moire'-producing subjects to see if this lens could really generate 120 lp/mm.  It does.  See the thread on CL as my only camera, where that question came up.
