Another enjoyable outing with the CL and 60 TL macro . . .

First, trying to get as much of the critter in focus as possible . . . lightly cropped . . .

Second shot is not for aesthetics, but to see how close I can get and still have a tiny bit of DOF. This is cropped at about 80%.  I'd guess not quite 1:2 here, with focus on the lump between the critter's eyes, so you can see how shallow DOF becomes  as one approaches MFD.

This tiny critter was both trusting and patient, very uncharacteristic of reds . . .

The lens is a joy to use in combination with the CL, with focus jitters easily quick enough to compensate for body movement at close distances.

Seen while walking around a neighboring town today.  CL, Zeiss 35mm f2.8 Biogon "C".  Note - I did a similar umbrella shot a year or two ago with an R-D1s and a Voigltander lens, (not sure which one).  Interestingly very similar color.

Please do not mess up this thread.

Remember that this is an image thread in which CL images are displayed and - if so desired- commented upon.

It is NOT open to discussing other topics. Lens comparisons and completely OT posts do not belong here. Participants are requested to use different threads for those.

This time I have moved OT posts and discussions into other threads. From now on such posts will be deleted without notification.

One can't compete with Rob's critters, but I too really love this lens!

CL with 23mm Summicron-T . . .

I suppose there must be a difference between this combination and an M or SL with a 35 'cron, but I cannot discern any.

Thought I would share a little local history with you.  Bit of an archeology dig going on. CL with 18-56 (maybe a little overdone with Color Efex detail extractor but heyho).

View from Castle Keep over Christ Church and Oswestry Library, just to show how the castle sits above the town.
