I like the content of the photos in #201, but the colours are very strange in my mind. It could look much better. Too much LR ?

Part of the issue is WB too warm, I think. I went easy on the colors in LR, Saturation +1 and Vibrance +10 with the Adobe profile. That’s all. I reposted them in the link with a slightly cooler look now.

It is always the same with a new camera - the colours need a bit of attention in the beginning. Some shots out of the CL I have seen look a bit muddy. Reminder to self: First thing to do is shoot a dual-illuminant profile and tweak :) .

I tried out the APO TELYT M 134 3.4 on the CL.

Can focus well through the EVF (though fairly sensitive to fine adjustment).

@ISO100 f3.4 1/1250s

Next @ISO100 3.4 1/2000s

NO PP.

Did you use the magnifier or the focus peaking for MF lens?

I found both settings under Focus Assist.

I set Auto Maginification to ON

Focus Peaking to OFF.

I save it to Favourites.

When i use M Mode, the right thumb wheel does the magnification.

I did not set it to the wheel.

I just tried the upper arrow, nothing happens!

Not sure why our different experience.

EDIT: When you long press the right wheel, you can change its function from the list selected in Favourites.

So it may be because i saved the Auto Magnification that enables the use of the right wheel for this function.

Taken with the 55-135 at 55mm f3.5, minimal post-processing in Lightroom.

Coming from a Leica M10 and a Sony A7R II, I was a bit skeptical at first, but after just 2 days of testing, the 55-135 and the 11-23 are quickly erasing my skepticism.

Looks like you've made a successful escape!  Lots of exciting things to photograph - though you can make the mundane exciting :-)

Thanks, Vikas. The weather is wonderful in Florida at this time of the year. My daughter lives in Ndw York and I know people are suffering in the “North”. :)

But she is coming for holidays. ;)

4 from London today, with the CL + 55-135 lens. DNGs into Lightroom (with new Adobe profile for the CL) and straight out again.

A few from me. Just started using CL. I really like the way CL performs in dark environment and the way one can use M and SL optics in addition to Native lenses.
