CL - The Image Thread

Recommended Posts

First shot with newly arrived 18mm.

This lens will live on my CL (with occasional swaps for the TL 60mm, a SL zoom or Summaron 35/2.8)

I really much like the CL. Though I have to confess that I have returned the camera to my dealer. The reason is that I have fairly no time to use this tool and thus I had to go. Yesterday the 23mm lens arrived an I have taken a few shots to share with you.

Since I see no sense to burn my money and still own my M240 the t decision was clear. Perhaps later I will com back.

Good luck and much joy for all those who have bought this wonderful camera!

Still struggling to understand the settings!... Here, I am testing a manual Nikkor 50 mm, 1.4, lens; but, I couldn't manage to figure out how the magnifying is working!...

Being used to T, I feel more comfortable with the magnifier and I hope I can also use it with CL. I wonder if this is because I am not using a leica lens!?...

CL + Nikkor 50 mm, 1.4.

CL + Nikkor 50 mm, 1.4.

With T/L lenses with manual focus, magnification is automatically triggered.

With other manual focus lenses, magnification is automatically assigned to the RH (IIRC) dial.

Summicron-M 50

A nice place to live in Sydney

"Nice" is a big understatement. We have friends in Castle Cove we visited years ago after our cycletrip from Cairns to Sydney. For us Sydney is like heaven! We are still dreaming of a New Years Eve at the Harbour bridge, but unfortunately that time of the year is - in comparison to Germany - a little hot for long distance cycling.

These birds flew over head, blue sky, no clouds so i just pointed the camera at them and bam! Instant AF...  I was impressed!  This shot is heavily cropped.  The AF is brilliant from what I've seen so far.  I LOVE this camera, its just gorgeous and fun to use!

Amanda, I find your night shots amazing. The colors are gorgeous; the light superb; and, the composition excellent.

CL is in good hands, my friend. :)

Coming from such a superb photographer, that is so nice of you to say. I feel I'm such a beginner with lots to learn.  Hoping this awesome machine means i'll take it out with me more often and improve with time.

I picked up a CL on Saturday, Leica SF had a few in stock.

Same day as purchase, Land's End, SF.

Cropped in, I was impressed with the detail, coming from Full Frame world...

And one walking around Brooklyn NY this morning.
