I'm trying to ignore it so I don't get a bad attack of GAS 🙂

A bit hard to ignore.  I have put in a few absentee bids up to my maximum, might be lucky, might not 🤞

Good luck.

I've not even looked at the auction site...yet...

went through the catalogue twice but there was nothing there that really tickled my fancy (and I live in Australia, not Melbourne though)

I finally did go through the catalogue. My thoughts too.

Fortunately 🙂

Only 200 were made. Collector price.

Of interest to Chinese collectors. I went through the catalogue and I did not see anything that I wanted that would be worth the hassle and cost of getting it delivered to Ireland from Australia. Since Brexit even getting items from GB to Ireland is a PITA. Some of the items in this auction may, however, turn up again at European auctions.

You could invest too. Collector items are world wide of interest.

I have invested already, but as I go along my list of what I really want grows narrower as time passes.  I have a collection of about 50 vintage Leica cameras already, as well as other vintage items, going back to the mid 19th Century. At the this stage, the items I really 'want' are very specific. I collect just for my collection. I have never sold any of my collector items.
