I put the lens on the kitchen scale. The weight is exactly 184g which means there is 1g weight loss in 40 yrs. If they didn't have their large rear elements the 1:2.8/35mm Biogon and the 1:3.5/35mm Planar - both for the old rangefinder Contax - would be approx. 1cm shorter than the Summilux. The MS -Optical 1:3.5/35mm Perar has a practical small focussing lever - otherwise you wouldn't be able to handle it. The 1:3.5/3.5cm Elmar will probably never be topped for small size.
