As they say in Russian, I’ll shoot it за тебя и за того парня!:). I’ll have to shoot it 10x more for all you deserters now.  One of the very first S shots I’ve seen was @ropo54 idyllic Floridian paradise shot with it showcasing it for sale.  Now I feel a need to form a committee against the extinction of the S24!:). 95mm filter FTW!

Thank you, setuporg.

I thought the S 24 was terrific. Of course, I always think about reacquiring it (along with every other lens I've sold)!  For the moment, I'm sticking with the S 30-90, figuring that once I can travel again after covid,  it's the more versatile option.  (Of course, I'm trying to stick with the rule that I will not buy a new lens unless I'm committed to selling one).

(P.S.  It must have been this photo?

@setuporg I need to shot my 24mm 10x so it doesn't feel neglected.  My sample was the display at Leica LA, after trying it out on my S2 I asked about buying it, that lens.  It took one year to purchase it, they couldn't release their display.  In the meantime they pulled at least six other 24's to try, none had the look of the display.

24mm, 30mm, 70mm, 120mm, 180mm.

Mamiya 300/2.8 with adapter.

Hasselblad H adapter looking for a spouse, no H lenses sadly.

I would love to purchase the Hasselblad 300mm f2.8 FE.  Availability is zero, I've seen only one for sale, asking price of $25,000.  Has anyone seen this lens or had the opportunity to shoot it?

I'm sorry, but I feel I have to defend the 24 Super Elmar S.

With my M9, I bought the 75mm Lux first. I quickly went all the way down to the 21mm SEM, a fabulous lens in its own right. All sold now. No regrets.
With the S006, I got the 120 APO first. The 35mm Summarit-S is probably as far as I'm taking the S system in terms of FL (planned for later this month).
Zeiss Contax 645: 80, 55, 140.

The last shot with my 24mm before I sold it. Quite fitting, really. 🤨

Ok. Exteding beyond the S-line:

Now you've got me failing bad for selling my 24mm.  Here's a shot taken with it about 6 years ago; it is a fine lens. The bushes on the left really are that color, it's not chromatic aberrations!
