Louis, I love this photograph!  It reminds me a bit of some of the work of the late Bill Cunningham, my all-time favorite photographer.

No one gets more out of the CL than you, Louis; and I especially enjoy following how you go with such ease from technical excellence to artistic captures like "Rebecca."  The many great photos you and others share here are my main reason for visiting this website.

Thank you so much; you are very kind, dear friend. Like yourself, I love photography; and, I learn a lot from everyone by participating in this kind of forums. Your kind words are a great encouragement for me to keep going.

All the best.

Rex, thank you. I was using the wonderful and old manual Nikkor 85mm, f/1.8 that I always loved, but now, rarely use with digital cameras. According to some, it is one of the best Nikkor lenses. It is very sharp (when focussed) and usually has a very appealing bokeh. As a test, I tried to have a "soft" image by not going after  sharpness  and asked Rebecca to slowly cross the street to see what kind of picture I can get.  I know it can't please to many photographers and maybe, I shouldn't have  posted in a photography site; but, I found the result quite interesting and wanted to see what other folks may think! :)

Sorry, Louis - this image doesn't do it for me at all.  Normally, I don't bother posting if I don't like an image, but this one stood out.

When I look at this on my MacBook Pro, all I can see is artefacts.  What did you do in post?

On my Asus screen, the image looks way too hard edited.
The beautiful model's facial expression tells me that she disagreed with your photograph.

Thank you guys; posting this shot, as I explained before, was exactly for getting your feedbacks. I wanted to know what you think about it and I really appreciate your very constructive comments.
