Nice? I am going there tomorrow, but I have the Q3 instead of M11 with me.

Weren't you on Saturday in Monaco? I saw a guy similar to you with an M11 shooting at the taxi stand near the Hotel de Paris.

Very close, this is at Èze village. About 30min from Nice.

The 28mm focal length will serve you well, do you also have a 75mm/90mm with another body?

I wasn’t in Monaco yesterday, I was in St Tropez though

Do let me know if you find yourself in Heidelberg. Always a pleasure to meet friends over coffee / wine

Yes, I am staying just below Eze at Cap Estel (15 min drive). The guy I saw in Monaco really looked a bit like you😄.

We stayed in St Remy, followed by St Tropez and now Cap Estel.

Would love to see Heidelberg again, was there last time in the seventies as a teenager. But everything is so much more crowded now.

This time, I am traveling with Q3, Q3 43, and D-Lux 8, but Q3 (28mm) seems to work best for me.

A really nice set of images, all taken with the M11D and all converted to B&W.  But you also have the M11M.  Which camera gets the most use (I'm guessing the D) and do you keep track of the ratio of photos taken with the D, Mono and P?  Just curious as I have the Mono for B&W and my colour photos are taken with SL3 and Q3.

Thanks very much. The M11M has gone back for repair as I managed to scratch the viewfinder window (well the coating anyway), within 3 weeks of owning it there was a scratch on the scratch resistant rear screen. Getting the repairs priced up.

When I've got everything at my disposal the darker it is the more I lean toward the M11M. This particular set is for a project and so I want the flexibility to keep some shots as colour. They'll all be in monochrome however!
