How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

I really like this one, makes me see that a 35mm lens may be more than useful for some bird images, so thank you for giving me proof! Very serene image, I would be happy with that on a wall.

In the aftermath of Storm Eunice I went for a beach walk with the Noctilux, which I have so far used very little on the M11. I decided to leave the EVF at home so as to stress test focussing at F1 (the two colour shots) with the RF - mostly but not entirely successful but I was being buffeted by very strong winds!

And this one again with the F1 Noctilux but at F5.6 for DOF. Look carefully to the right and you will see that this beach house is built around a railway carriage. On this stretch of beach some enterprising entrepreneur hauled a bunch of these onto the shingles about 100 years ago and sold them off as beach huts. Since then, a lot of them have grown around the original carriages. The sell of hundreds of thousands of £££ even though they're in danger from every storm as the shingle shifts around.
