Where did the white lettering go on the shutter dial?

I just removed it. I don't look at the dial to adjust speed and I feel like it gives the camera a more cohesive look. The white infill has been removed from the black chrome Leicavit as well.

I used 99% isopropyl alcohol and quality cotton buds to gently dissolve the paint without damaging the black chrome finish. Lower strength alcohols require a lot more rubbing

Just curious.

I wonder why you keep the red arrow and two red dots on the rewind button.

Just an aesthetic choice. The BC M-A leaves most of what would be white, empty (as you know). I just completed that approach. The red is very subtle compared to the white against the BC. Ultimately, just a personal preference.

Aesthetic choice !

Thanks for your reply.

done this to use "only" at F/1

So you will never sell your M-A, good to know.

As in my experiences, inthe past selling a heavy (even less than that) "customized" Leica gear was not easy.
