Probably top plate and bottom made of aluminum? So i have excuse not to get one

another change i noticed besides the usual notch on baseplate which dont exist anymore is the focus/the dof preview button probably swapped with the extra button on top plate

If the rumors are true, and it seems the cosmetic rumors are, then this will be a solid upgrade to an M10/M10-P. As for M10R owners, we might wait for the M11-P or another variant.

But I dunno, it's all according to specs.

We had the same button at the M240. Does it mean that video will be back?

I don't think so. Rather, I think that the focus button has moved from the front to the top. Maybe that has something to do with the new EVF.

Another cosmetical change is the front line of the top cover. Where the magnification button on the M10 series sat, the line is a bit "higher". On the right side (viewfinder window) nothing has changed. So it is no straight line any more, it is divided where the bayonet sits.

Looks the same as an M-10 with one extra button

There is no "focus button" on the front any more, so may be it only changed its position.

On an earlier photo of the top in "Leica Rumors" the ISO dial starts at "64" instead of "100".

The "Photography" section of the Leica website - which was a total mess when I tried to look for something yesterday - is down now,  only saying: "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later."
