On the 'plus' side this screen-grab was taken some 50 mins after your post so perhaps Brendan got in there earlier? Philip. Ah! You are quite right, I think 'Venduta' does mean 'sold' in Italian ... oh well ...

They are in 29 batches. I am not yet convinced that the m10-d's were all built out to the full 100 per batch. But perhaps there really are 2900 M10-Ds out there, all being happily used. charlesphoto99 Posted February 19, 2023 Share #72  Posted February 19, 2023 It's been noted that Leica have a bin of hot shoes with serial numbers that they just grab out of a bin, and shared among models being built, so they may be built days apart (or even same day) but not have sequential serial numbers. I could be wrong but that is how I've read they did it in the past.

(We gathered serial numbers and found only 15 batches, implying 1500 M-D's in existence. ) For these M10-D numbers I took only serial numbers that have been published, either as an image, eg in a review or for sale picture, or from EXIF info shared on flickr. 5326550Â Â Â Â Â 5332418Â Â Â Â Â Â 5332512Â Â Â Â Â Â 5332591Â Â Â Â Â Â 5332602 5332634Â Â Â Â Â Â 5332684Â Â Â Â Â Â 5333236Â Â Â Â Â 5332725Â Â Â Â Â 5332797Â Â Â Â Â 5488380Â Â Â Â Â Â 5488523Â Â Â Â Â Â 5492540Â Â Â Â Â Â 5500324Â Â Â Â Â Â 5500350Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 5500382Â Â Â Â Â Â 5500415Â Â Â Â Â So that makes 11 batches I have found so far, which implies a production of 1100 cameras.
