I feel a bit daft, I can't remove the adaptor. The M lens comes off the adaptor but the adaptor just won't budge from the camera. I don't want to force it, any tips please?

You are remembering to press the lens release button aren't you?

My new M-L adapter was also Very tight on the SL2. The new SL lenses too. But it did loosen up a bit for me after a couple days of use. Hopefully the rubber glove recommend above helped with your situation. I know I had to apply a significant level of force to off the adapter those first few days. The 50 APO was so tight It didn't completely connect my first few tries and the AF didn't work which sent me into a minor panic for a few seconds, third attempt I really forced it and all was well since.

The Kipon L-M (no electronic contacts) is a perfect fit, the best of the cheap brands. I have tried a few of the cheap versions including Urth which was well made but wouldn’t lock into position.

My goes also hard when I put is inside. It is narrow but acceptable hard fit.
I never play with it because I am afraid to scratch or brake something inside… Otherwise no problems with it…
I also had one third party one but it wobbled a little when is used so I purchased a Leica original.

Sorry for errors… English is not my native language so I tried Google translate…
