Since chickens are a big theme of this thread, here are some shot in Bunratty Village in Ireland.

My sincere apologies since I captured this with a Canon DSLR in 2005 because I only became a Leica shooter in the winter of 2017. I'm all in with Leica now with a M10-R, M10-P (1st M10 factory converted to the M10-P in the USA) and an SL2.

Since the M10 (converted to an M10-P) is my first Leica, I cannot bear to sell it even though the M10-R is my main body.

Regards,
Bud James

I’m not sure if you deposit eggs and withdraw chickens or deposit chickens and withdraw eggs.

If you open a new account, do you get a free toaster?

A bucket of fried drumsticks might be better.

Yeah, good question: the 4th would logically be more compact I’d say and I would put the APO35 in the 3rd and the APO50 in the 4th. By the way, the robustness aspect is quite disputable. The development in this sense is not at all as linear as the graphic suggests: compare for instance the indestructible Summaron 35, which can, on the M4, be used as defense weapon by war photographers, with the Summicron 35 iv (on an M6).

Maybe, the APO 50 is broaching into the 6th?

Summaron 35... I might as well pin weld this on my black M4!

I watched Peter Karbe speak about M lenses, so I'm wondering, is the new APO-Summicron-M 35 still part of the 3rd generation or is it the first of the 4th generation?

What was the 4th gen again. Ist was coatings. 2nd was asphere and computation. 3rd was combination incl floating element...4th is?...i wonders whats 5th & 6th

That's a lovely capture.  More or less Paul Strand meets @Jonoslack .

Perhaps they can breed a new type of chicken with much greens and reds and a hairy crest so we can severely test the APO qualities.
