Did a bit more investigation.  Opened the icm file in the (Mac OS) ColorSync Utility.app

Reported the following under the "Header" tab:

Created 11/3/16
Version 2.1.0
Device Manufacturer 'POne'

… so looks like it is a file from Phase One, way back in 2016.

A bit old, but works well for me 😃

The "Leica SL2 ProStandard" and clicking the automatic adjustment in levels is usually a great starting "negative."

We are starting to drift off the topic here, so I'll keep it short.

The big difference for me was that C1 is much faster than LR was in 2016.  The Adobe Spinning Beachball really got on my nerves! Apparently things are better now, but having made the effort to switch and redo my catalogues and learn a new user interface, cannot see any reason to go back.
