otto.f Posted September 3, 2018 Share #266 Posted September 3, 2018 Fotomuseum, Rotterdam How typical Dutch is this then? I see Jack Nicholson, Merkel, etc. in a quite common exposition hall. What can be more global than this? It can be anywhere, from New York to ShangHai. There are more examples of not very typical Dutch scenes in this thread btw, examples of modern architecture in Groningen or Rotterdam for instance

I can imagine that Leica users from other countries will find the Fotomuseum worth a visit during their stay in Rotterdam. Hence my photos. There are more examples of not very typical Dutch scenes in this thread btw, examples of modern architecture in Groningen or Rotterdam for instance That the photography exhibited is not uniquely Dutch but rather global may be true. Certainly though, modern Dutch architecture is unique and clearly distinctive and is typically Dutch. Known worldwide, its Architects and advanced building technologies are immediately recognizable and held in high regard by the global architectural community. I assure you that work done by Dutch Architects in New York or Shanghai is immediately identifiable to those with an interest in architecture just as works by architects from elsewhere are most assuredly recognized as German, American, British, etc., in your cities.
