To be clear I wasn't even referring to your scenario (was referring to the aftermarket inflated prices that designate its collectible status) - but I mean, take it how you want. Well of course it is fashion. There is no functional advantage. I don't begrudge any owners - but I do despise the hype machine part of Leica branding that makes limited edition pieces of jewelry and that resellers put up for obscene prices. Leica could do a lot of things that help the world more than make another piece of collectible jewelry. Very satisfied with it. The reporter version is super sexy (but typically not what is photographed with it). Sometimes i wish my silver version could be more unobtrusive. Another way is for you to be more unobtrusive. It might only be you that is conscious of your M10-R and you are unconsciously giving off signals that others pick-up on. That Kevlar really looks bad to me. Especially worn. Definitely the best looking green combo is the Leica M10P Safari with a silver lens. The M10P Safari looks so much better than the reporter.
