Please clarify which lens. Your description does not match any real lens:

135mm f/4.0 Elmar - 1960-65

135 f/4.0 Tele-Elmar - 1965-1991

135mm f/4.0 Tele-Elmar-M - 1992-1997

This web page includes some of Leica's brochure information from the early 60s for the 135 Elmar f/4.0

My lens made in 1966 it’s  135 f/4.0 Tele-Elmar.

I checked Ken’s forum earlier no manual photos or PDF there. I’ll keep looking because people sometimes scan vintage manuals and posted on web.

Yes, lens manuals tend to be hard to find, even in reproduction. Mostly because lenses are so simple to operate, compared to cameras (turn aperture ring, turn focusing ring). Not a lot of instruction needed, so they tend to disappear into the closet (or worse) along with the box.

Here are a couple of publication .pdfs, with substantial technical details, regarding the Tele-Elmar 135mm (or the 1991 Tele-Elmar-M - that same lens in a new barrel).

The "-M" designation only began to be officially applied to, and engraved on, M-mount lenses in the 1970s (once the R-designated SLR lenses appeared), and was phased in over 15-20 years as new models were introduced. I have used both - identical results.

(In French - brochure)

official Leica MTF/distortion/vignetting graphs, plus discussion (in English) - pages 73-75

But if you must have the actual instructions that came in the box, don't give up yet here. And/or have the moderators move your post to the Historica subforum, which is more likely to catch the eye of the "old lens" experts.

There are two websites that I go to first when I am looking for instructions and brochures - Mike Otto's Pacific Rim Cameras Reference Library and Mike Butkus' Butkus.org/orphancamera.com.  But I don't find the instructions you are looking for at either site.

Unfortunately I have never seen a "manual" for any lens from the time indicated. Leitz published leaflets when they introduced a new lens, which were precedessors of the modern descriptions for lenses on their website.

Here you see the leaflet for the Elmar 1:4/135mm from October 1960:

I have no leaflet especially for the Tele-Elmar, just the page about the two 135mm-lenses from the sixties in a brochure about Leica lenses from March 1968:
