wda Posted November 14, 2020 Share #2 Posted November 14, 2020 Julius, I enjoyed your report on using your X1 in Paris. You mention the time it takes to make and assess adjustments to EV setting. The easiest way is to learn how exposure bracketing works for you. Mine is set for +/_ 1.33 EV. Then two presses at 12 o'clock on the keypad will set that for you. Yes, your advice might work too. however, for me I have bad short sight and really having difficulty in finding buttons or seeing texts in small screen. Even sometime I can't really tell if my the camera is focused or not.. I just guess 😅 . Thus pointing the center to the shade area is easier for me. But you are right, if I don't have short sight then using the exposure bracketing is the way. Thanks for sharing advice.
