Trying to keep up with JD, (and now find he's changed tack and is off into the technology scene).

Local library, always a nice colour. Even on a dull rainy morning like today.

T with 18-56.

I prefer the last one as the background is much better controlled i.e. no distractions.

Thanks, Stephen. It was easier for the last shot because there was a wall! ;) In the second shot, I actually liked the background because of the perspective and for the light colors that, in my view, add a little to the shot and give a space around the statute.... As for the first one, I really could do nothing, and it was, indeed, a very busy background. I just made it darker in PP to bring the focus more on the subject that I thought had interesting colors! :)

But as you know, the lights in a museums don't make shooting very easy! :)

Louis, boring walls (!), come in very handy! Not saying that I dislike any of the three, I know how difficult it is to get rid of background distractions, it is just the third one stood out in my eyes as the one I would buy. Museums are a pain from a photographer's point of view. So are street car meetings where there is no chance to get a car reparked for a better angle, light etc.....
