Rick, I really love these "decaying" shots that are the testimony of an old and historical country that I haven't visited since last year. But allow me to post a few murals from an Italian restaurant in Florida, Di Pompei😉

All with T and 18-56 used in MF.

Rick, your excellent shot reminded me of some pictures I took one year ago at the same place! I shot them with Leica T and the awesome 18-56. I thought they could be  interesting for those who are considering the T (first version) and are still hesitating! :)

In two weeks while in Italy, I shot approximately 1800 photos with the TL2.  I must admit the camera did not hiccup even once.

Rick, I was checking some folders to choose shots for my instagram when I saw this one!....

Amazing!....

We shot the same landscape,  but with different lenses; and you with TL2 , me with T! lol :)

Louis,

Yes . we must have stood in the exact same spot.  Looks like I had a slightly wider lens.  We were staying about 1/4 mile from where I took that photograph..  Florence is an amazing city..  full of wonderful sights to see and photograph ..  truly the best Capucinno I have ever had.

I think this shot was taken from a bridge? My hotel must have been on the right side of the bridge, a few steps away. They offered the best breakfast I ever had! :) 🥐

Did you go on the roof of Duomo (Cathedral)? The view of the city was breathtaking from the top!

A day trip got us to Cinque Terre  - a lovely collection of Seaside villages on the NW Coast of Italy.  This has been discovered by tourists in a big way.

just received my Leica T conversion to infrared super color. This will be fun. My first walk around my Florida neighborhood looking through the lens made it all seem quite different. I shot the egret with the 18 -56 lens, processed in Topaz studio to channel swap and mask to isolate the color on the bird. A new way of seeing.

Just a simple shot from a street of Brickell, Miami. I am not a smoker, but I liked the colors and the light of the late afternoon.

A second attempt at infrared with my converted T mounted with the 18-56. I'm liking the ability to play with color that the super color filter allows.
