Lovely - though it almost looks Mediterranean!

- Vikas

Thanks Vikas.

If you ask Louis, he will tell you this is Morges near Lausanne. Near at part of Lake Geneva known as the Riviera. I'll spend the end of the week in Lugano which is known as the Mediterranean Switzerland. More posts coming...

Dear Jean-Pierre, I could  recognize la Grande Rue thanks to the Temple. Without the Temple, this street would almost look, to me, like many other Swiss Streets. I love them and miss them all. I can almost smell the typical Swiss streets and the stores.  It has been long since I left La Belle Suisse; I am sure it has changed a lot.

I am also sure you had a superb time in Lugano; another very beautiful part of Switzerland. All that region, Locarno and the lake, and even Lucerne and Interlaken where I spent so many school trips, look like a dream to me today.!...

Enjoy every inch of this gorgeous land, my friend. :)

International street art ?

@Louis: Yes, my friend, things have changed in Switzerland too: they've got street art even in front of Hermes and Vuitton  . But you can still feel the difference when coming from an other country. And that's good!

I think I know this street. If I can recall, there is a very nice cafe on the bottom left of the street!... But after all, many streets in Lausanne are similar; a little like SanFrancisco. LOL

I was in a boarding school in Port Pully in my teens. :)

Been a while, and to be fair I've been lurking too.

Getting some work done at a local airfield yesterday, spotted this old jet.

Louis has got shoes, Gary a jet, and Paul more bicycles than he can deal with. It's time for real vehicle!

Thinking of taking the T with me in a day or so, on the Europe trip. Only lens I have is the 23mm, but can adapt if required the R series lenses that I will have (for the SL and R6).

Wide is always a problem with the APS sensor, so I located a CV15mm to try, and first impressions are pretty good.

Indeed, and the 15 and 23 will have to do me. I can adapt the R50 and R90 if needed, but it's not as nice nor simple as the real deal T lenses.

In a case of taking way too much gear, I also have the X-Vario tucked away in the bag.
