T with 55-135mm @55mm, f/5.6, 1/2000...

My first experience with a native lens on this much-maligned camera, and the only two times it missed bone-sharp critical focus were when the old fart holding it screwed up . . .  :p

T with 55-135mm @135mm, ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/1600, cropped at about 60%...

I was not looking for birds to shoot with this lens, but when a normally extremely skittish Blue-Crowned Hanging Parrot (female) comes so close, one cannot ignore it...

And a great result too, the grand old Victoria Theatre building looks lovely, set amongst the high-rise buildings.

Gary

It's recently be restored, inside and out.  SO have the old Supreme Court and City Hall buildings just to the right of it which are now an art galery.  The pictures  also taken with a Leica T.

I love this. There is a sense of action and anticipation as well as vibrant colours.

It may be worth thinking about rotating the image a little to straighten your horizon.

Cheers,

Very beautiful shots. But I noticed that in all your shots, it seems to be the same bird. So, I was wondering if this is a tamed bird, trained to pose for you without moving!  ;)

If so, nice job, too! ;)
