Decided to get 23mm on TL.

Shot this little tiger wide open. DNG straight from camera.

A very nice shot. I voted for both because I very much like the fading perspective of the first one; and, the close up of the cropped version, with the mustache and teeth looking  really cool. A real tiger! :) What about reframing a little, cutting slightly from right and the top to move it from the center?

BTW, I also enjoy the soft colors despite the chromatic aberration that can be corrected.

Thanks Louis, I'm actually learning how to photograph from this thread !! Love how you adjust the perspective of the images too.

Surely I'll learn more.

With your permission, I played a little with your excellent shot. Of course, the image quality has been seriously reduced due to the low resolution of the version I saved from this site.

When I first saw this picture on my IPad,  I thought the color of the little colons were chromatic aberration; but when I viewed  it on my computer, I realized the original color is blue.

I just resized and reframed to see how it would work, and this is what I got. Obviously, framing and composition are often a matter of taste. ;)

Leica Elmarit-TL  18mm 2.8 ASPH. The smallest TL lens. In my opinion has great contrast and colour rendition. Distortion and vignetting corrected in camera - so no issue. Fast focus. Featherweight. Bright.

Very nice. I prefer the 18-56. Some 18 but more flex. 😜🕺

I may be accused for over-posting (as I was in another forum), but as nobody is posting and I don't wish to see this forum dying, here is another shot. (As a friend suggested, not many people are posting because many T/TL owners upgraded to CL!)

Evening departure; Miami.
