How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

Beautiful landscape, JD. However, these shots realy impress me the way you posted them on the other website. Not when i view them here.

I believe eve some of it due to file size restrictions here. They are chopped pretty hard.

The Church of St Nicholas, Steventon, where Jane Austen’s father was Rector. The church originated in the 12th century and was much restored and rebuilt in Victorian times.

Spring in Central Coast of California -- Cambria, CA  18-56mm

 

That’s a beautiful photo but it won’t get the attention it deserves at the size you posted it. Is there a way of posting a bigger version from your gallery?

 

I do recommend that viewers click through the posted image to see your picture in all its colourful glory.
