Can,

OK, not quite the set up I described, but I had a quick go at some more this morning, to no avail, too much wind.

The phone shot shows what I used today though.

T, with M-T adapter fitted.

Then an e bay EOS to M adapter.

Then an e bay Leica R to EOS adapter.

Then the 50mm Summicron R, with Elpro V1b fitted.

No flower shot though, it was swaying back and forth too much.

Gary

Gary, I have the same exact R lens, same vintage it looks like, bought thru Ebay, that sits permanently on my Canon 5dmiii.  I only took a few shots with it on the T awhile back but it worked great!  I used the Leica M to T, the the R to M adapter.  Very nice lens!

I may well be understanding better how this camera works in my hands. Both shots are cropped but sharpness is up.

The pumpkin is shot at 29mm, ISO 100, F5, 1/100.

The flower is shot at 18mm, ISO 100, F4, 1/160.

On both shots in Lightroom I changed Clarity by +34 in the case of the flower and +25 pumpkin.

Severe cropped and enabled Remove Chromatic Aberration and constrain crop.

On the pumpkin Tone, Blacks -25, Exposure +1.05

On the flower Tone Blacks -58, Exposure +0.20

Nothing else. So how am I doing? I think my first images lacked clarity because being used to a A7RII and using slow shutter speeds, I thought I could do the same with the T, but without shake reduction system, I obviously cannot!

Here is a shot also heavily cropped with the 55-135. I had some issue to stop shaking long enough with this lens.

Settings ISO 1600, 135mm, F4.4, 1/320 sec. Tone Blacks -3, clarity +27

Thanks for the critique, just what I was looking for.  1) Flower I will look at that more carefully. 2) Pumpkin, yes the surface is as light as you see. 3) The lamp was the one where I thought I would fail because I feel that I shake more with that lens (55-135), which is strange because I do not get that feeling with an A/R and 70-200 lens.

Interesting comments thank you.

I have redone the flower, and added a screenshot of the changes. Hopefully it is better now.

Thank you very much for sharing Gary, it's amazing how many combination of lenses you can get with T, looks fab!

Thanks all.

Yes, the T I look upon (sorry to say) as a digital back for whatever lenses I have.

Initially I was headed to another (would have been my 3rd) M8, I like the M8 immensely, but was worried about the age, the lack of some replacement parts, and the other coffee stain and shutter issues. Possibly unneccessarily of course, but worried.

Along came this T, used, and I figured while not a rangefinder, still what I wanted, so I tried it. I really need an AF lens of course to really "experiece" the T, but so far very happy.

Louis is having a ball with his new T, and Nikkors.

Here's another one off the T with the R Apo Macro 100mm Elmarit.  This guy just happened by outside the kitchen window, is taken THRU the window.  It is the day after hunting season....so he is a lucky guy!

How do I upload photos to this branch of the T forum?

Thanks,

John

You click at the top of the thread "Reply to this topic" - doing that allows you to attach an image, which you have sized to the requirements for the site.

You might need to also select "more reply options" next to the "post" button.  I finally figured that out.

Ok thank you! Does the same thing as "Reply to this topic"! I had not noticed that billinghambaglady - so which bag have you got?

Indestructible - I can agree with that I have the black Hadley Pro in black. Very nice, easy to work out of.  Takes a Macbook 12" plus a T and the 18-56 and 55-135 as well as sundry small items in the two front pockets.

Here's a quick one with the Noctilux 1.0 on the T.  Trying to get familiar with this lens. It makes for a lot of soft edges. Have a great Halloween!
