Is Luigi doing a case for you at that price? For that budget I would go A & A if they do a M10 case. I have an A & A case for my M2 and its a nice fit.

I am trying to stay within $200 +/- a few dollars. Luigi offers an M10 half case +strap+shipping for $190. I want to stay out of payments in EURO, with the sinking US $.

They do a M10 case and, as I posted earlier, my one badly damaged the camera covering as the lining had very sharp edges. I believe this problem has been addressed but they are pretty basic cases anyway.

I prefer paying slightly more and getting a Luigi half case. I have one for my M9.

I have an oberwerth wrist strap, its top quality no doubt, when I bought my half case oberwerth wasn't making them, I researched , I tested, I tried, the most "natural" look fit feel was

arte de mano, you  should at least look so that you make the most informed decision possible for yourself. As I mentioned earlier after all my research I prefer not to even use it - but this is a very personal usage descision

I have done research on the arte di mano cases. They cost too much for my budget.

Not yet. Luigi asked for ten days to get it done. Then there is shipping. I also need to send him payment. He will get it done. Nice guy.

Raid, quick question - on the Luigi cases for the M10, the only secure points to the case/camera is via the strap lugs on the side of the M10, correct? Or is there is connection to the tripod mount screw as well?

Raid Amin, you must be corresponding a lot with Luigi. I just sent him a note on my case and he replied back calling me "Raid".

Ha ha ha!

I think of Luigi as an old friend, even through we have never met and this is my first direct purchase of his product from him.

I do not know about the tripod mount screw. I sent yesterday payment to Luigi for a Cognac Brown half case with "bump" and strap in which the back cover is permanently atatched so that it is flap that cannot get lost my mistake.

That is correct, the strap lugs only.

I think Luigi will be happy to create a bottom opening in the case if you need to say, attach Peak Design strap. Just give him your requirements. Clear instructions will help. He seems to be very familiar with different Leica models.

Thanks, he was happy to do it. My case will ship on Monday.

The USD isn't sinking that much, no matter how badly the administration is managing the economy. Remember when it was 70 EU cents to 1 USD? Not too long ago.

I was in Europe with the family then! Everything was so expensive.

Kaza Deluxe is coming out with both a half and full case for the M10. I’ve had them for other cameras and they’re of excellent quality and half the price of Arte de Mano (which I’ve also owned but didn’t find to be any better).  I’ve just put in my order for one.

The case I ordered from Luigi is here. Quite pleased with the quality and workmanship. The color is black in diamond print.

I visited the Kaza website and the Leica Series half cases are for CL, Q, and Q2 only. No Leica M10 half cases. Did you get into a pre-release run?

I had corresponded with them and its on its way - I expect they will announce it soon.
