Even without Covid, Leica marches to their own timing.  Even then, supply levels can vary by location and source, and further complicated by wait lists, or not.  Best to check with the source where you ordered to see if they have any insight, or at least to determine if there's a wait list and where you rank.

if i were you, then i get the regular one. the differences is pretty minimal.

Same price, unlike most special editions, and standard version is similarly back ordered most places.

Same camera, different engraving on the top plate.  At least that is my understanding of the Leitz/Wetzlar M10M.

The all black regular M10M is so beautiful and clean that I prefer it over the Leitz/Wetzlar version.

I'm not so sure that these "Limited Editions" that run into 500-600+ pieces are of benefit to the owner.  My "Limited Edition" M-P 240 Safari set doesn't seem to have appreciated in terms of resale value.

Hello. Someone is aware of the delivery date of the Leica M10 Monochrom Wetzlar limited edition. Announced in February for delivery in April. For obvious reasons it has been postponed. You know when. For those who ordered like me in February? Thanks.

Got mine yesterday. :)))

Got mine today.

now, I am going to re-learn B/W photography. 40 years ago or so, I was quite experienced. I was able to have a B/W look to the outside world. But that is gone.

I’m quite excited.

Given the total lack of Leica ID on the M10M, I bet there was some internal argument at Leica with some arguing for at least a Leica script ala the MP on the top. Maybe Doctor K then said let’s do it both ways, but call the second version a limited addition made large.

Sign me up for a 10M10 Ghost limited edition of 50.

It’s called the Leitz Wetzlar version...

All versions also have ID on the hot shoe.

I have the Leitz Wetzlar edition and I'm delighted with it and very happy with my choice. Just be aware that the store pictures don't usually show the rear of the camera, which has the engraving picked out in white rather than black in the normal edition. Also, on the top plate, the small alignment markers for shutter speed and ISO are also picked out in white rather than the black shown in the photo.

I have mine too. The back of the camera has the ‘Leica Camera Made in Germany’ blacked out. The rest of the engraving is as you say. Just FYI.
