Thank you for asking, AndreasG. They were taken inside Marrakesh Souk. This is the biggest traditional marketplace in Marrakech, divided into sections for the various trades. You'll see herbalists, spice sellers, carpet sellers, metal workers, tanners, and food markets congregated on trade-specific streets. It is a maze of busy, twisting, narrow alleys filled with bustling traders, shops and tourists. It's mostly covered and hot and it's easy to get very lost. I spent about one hour walking around with my Leica and afterwards found a good coffee shop to sit overlooking the main square, which is where the following photo was taken from..
