well not exactly a Samura... as it is at the entrance of a fortified Village in Alsace (East of France, close to the German border) but the idea could be an inhabitant running away and saying « go to hell » ;)

The sculpture illustrates the right to asylum (to welcome refugees at that Time) the Village has had since the 14th Century
