I'm the Godfather to the two young women on the left. One of them was married Sunday so I brought my M10M and just one lens (Nokton 50mm f/2.0) to shoot a few b&w photos. This was just as I was arriving.

I still find it "interesting" to see a group of people standing together and everybody is on the phone.

M10M with 50mm APO at f2.4, minor cropping.  Washington, DC, is full of wonderful and friendly people.  Kindly observe that resolution improves considerably when viewed on the light-box.   Regards.

Annual stop for the "Chapman swifts", a migratory population of Vaux's swifts that roost seasonally in the chimney of Chapman Elementary School in Portland, Oregon. The birds began using the Chapman chimney in the early 1980s in response to the loss of much of their natural roosting habitat - old growth Douglas-fir. Shortly after sunset around this time of year, thousands of these birds fly into the top of the brick chimney to roost on the interior surface until they depart at sunrise, on their way to southern Central America for the winter.
