How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Nice image! I'd like to see this one without the person for my own selfish taste. Like the processing as well.

I completely agree. The figure in the staircase disrupts the sense of symmetry and takes attention away from the fact that it is actually a twinned helical structure which seems to have Romanesque notes about it.

Like da Vinci's staircase in Chambord except rather older.

I'll bet it was great fun in its day.

New 21mm SEM f3.4 arrived this morning, so put it on my M10M and tested it on a short, local walk. All with orange filter. As ever, click to view in Lightbox.

Keith,  Spectacular—as are all your images!  Are you using an external viewfinder or “winging it”?  If external, which one?

Well - thank you (blush!).  I use the Visoflex Type 020 as (a) I dislike holding a camera at arms-length and (b) I quite often use some R lenses.
