These are wonderful compositions. Are the colors accurate or has there been a color shift?

Thank you - yes, there has been some post processing in LR - not really a shift but pushing the magenta/blue/colors.

Stress test for AWB:

Exposure compensation of -4 stops gets the color of the candle flames about right.  Candle colors are also accurate.

SL2 & Canon 400mm f4 II with Sigma MC-21 EF-L  adapter.  ISO200 100/s @f4

I find this lens so incredibly sharp on the 47MP sensor,  that I have to de-sharpen images before I do anything else with them in PP.  I found the same when I was using it on the S1R.

Thank you. Yes AF was working, no issues.

As I've mentioned in other posts,  AF's not lightning fast, but it's accurate and perfectly acceptable. Additionally, when using the lens with the MC-21 adapter there's no focus hunting,  which is a big difference when compared to using the Novoflex adapter. The Novoflex adapter causes the lens to continually hunt for focus, and is also just about unusable in AF mode when you add  tele converters into the mix.  This is  based on my experience with the Canon 400mm telephoto lens.

Modern technology in a building. Sometimes looking abstract.  All with SL 2 and 24/90. Even on the SL 2 a great lens. Apart from my various macro lenses I do not need more than the 24/90 and the 90/280 on the SL 2 - at least for the time being.
