Hello everybody!

Finally I got mine too and had a first walk yesterday. I mainly used it as a street photography camera in AFC mode with face / body recognition. I'm an enthusiastic M-photographer, but this Q2 really expands opportunities. Crop-factor plus fun-factor = Q2 :)

A female Broad-Tail Hummingbird at our feeder. We had about 10" of a very wet spring snow last night. The hummingbirds are cold and needing nourishment. I shot this one through a kitchen window sitting on the feeder. Leica Q2, 1/40, f/5, ISO 100.

This is equivalent to a 103mm crop  and through a double pane window

We had a very wet snow last night in Colorado. The trees are suffering with numerous limbs breaking due to the heavy weight of the snow. It's definitely springtime. Leica Q2, 1/40, f/5, ISO 100.

tried to upload some Q2 images but encounters the site limit of 500kB.  That seems ridiculously low given that this is a website which is dedicated to high resolution photographic equipment.

However, I hope these couple of links to my FACEBOOK pics will work:

There is a historic cemetery near my office where I like to wander during my lunch hour.  There are many military burials there but these two are the most notable.  Lt Col Amos Steele was a unit commander who was killed on the last day of the battle of Gettysburg while defending against Pickett's Charge, the attack on Cemetery Ridge.  His younger brother was killed almost exactly one year later during a series of battles known as the Wilderness battles in Virginia.  There was yet another brother, who was too young to be in the army, who later was elected sheriff of their home county and became a prominent political figure in central Michigan.

Michigan Capitol building.  I used the "auto" correct feature of Lightroom to correct for the wide angle lens distortion that was very obvious on this picture before adjustment.
