It seems these cargo's are going to collide. But don't worry, the pilots knew what they're doing.

The “U” shaped arrangement of sticks is the “bower” of the male satin bowerbird.  It is not a nest, but rather a type of “bachelor pad” which he builds for the purpose of mating with his partner.  He attracts her with a display area in front of the bower.  Satin bowerbirds prefer blue objects – seen here are bits of blue tape, string, clothes pegs and milk bottle tops. Away from humans, he might use blue parrot feathers, beetle’s wings, snail shells or flowers.  Having mated, the female bird goes away and does all the nest building, laying and hatching of eggs and child rearing.

Curious if members are using PS or LR to 'enhance' these pics as they seem to really pop?  Or is that the Q...lol

The unedited DNG will “pop” if you nailed the settings or get lucky. LR and PS can accentuate some as one can expect.

From a recent, fortunately 100% peaceful, rally in Charlottesville, VA.

One of my favorite cities in the world. Was the Leica store open?

Nothing much was open yet.....that's why it was so quiet.  Once in a life time opportunity, no tourists!

Another rainy day and another view from my bedroom window while in lockdown.  Boris says I can go out, but who trusts Boris?
