The Q2 lens (and body) is indeed impressive. Here's the above shot cropped to 75mm in LR. I may be misunderstanding the forum posting rules re: file size. So far, I'm only able to upload tiny files so trust me when I say that when viewing at 100% on my 5k screen, I see every nook, cranny and cell on his tongue.

Steve -

Welcome to the forum,.  Delightful shot and subject.  The forum rules on image posting include image size of no larger than 1240 pixels on the longer side, and 500 KB file size.  This is to allow members without high speed Internet to download pages in a reasonable amount of time.  Over the years, as Internet services have improved we've adjusted the rule upwards, and will no doubt continue to do so.

Curious critter.  This little guy came from about 50 feet away while I was taking pics of some blossoming trees.  He kept getting closer and closer to get a better look.

Glad I read that.  I’ve been restricting to 1024 on the longer side.  Looks like there’s a small increase 🙂

He probably recognized the Leica's 28mm and knew he would need to get close for a portrait.  And it paid off for him.

I think you are probably correct!  I also have a Sony a7RIII and no animal has EVER wanted to get a closer look at that camera.

You are right. Stunning. I love the colors. Nice bokeh. Sharp. Besides, she’s a cutie and that helps any photographer.

Can’t wait until my Q2 arrives. I sold my Q to a friend with accessories for $2500. I could probably have gotten a little more, but my friend has never had a Leica and now she’ll be an active member of the forum. She’s a terrific photographer so we’ll all enjoy the new member.

Who should we watch for?
