johnwolf Posted July 30, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 30, 2007 Hope it's not as bleak for them as this strong visual metaphor suggests. At least she's not behind the stone wall with the cattle. Very nice work -- especially his attitude and the DOF treatment. John
hsw Posted July 30, 2007 Share #3 Posted July 30, 2007 You've captured this wonderfully. Framing and focus are just right to make your point. I have a 13 year old and a 16 year old so see these very faces in my house from time to time! Regards, Henry

Michael-IIIf Posted July 31, 2007 Author Share #9 Posted July 31, 2007 Thanks for all the replies. Actually, Andrew is a great lad and doesn't deserve a lot of the "bad press" he gets from his parents. This snap is from my Barnack Challenge roll, I'm beginning to think it would have made a better Decisive Moment. It's a shame it's not fully in focus because I was caught out by the Elmar's modest minimum distance. James, Robert, I'm sure you've guessed where it comes from. I was also toying around with this... John, They're not cattle. I know it's hard to tell at f5.6 but the blobs in the background are unexpectedly Menhirs. Thanks all, Michael
